the logic between different groups is "and" for example, if you place "commercial insurance" in group 2, the audience becomes (asthma or albuterol) and (commercial insurance) exclusions (and not logic) items placed in the exclusions section will be removed from your audience for example, adding "biopsy of lung" to exclusions refines the audience to (asthma or albuterol) and (commercial insurance) and not (had a lung biopsy) step 3 calculate and save your audience once you have defined your criteria, you're ready to calculate the potential audience size and save your audience calculate audience click the calculate audience button this will query the database and show you the number of distinct patients for your audience it will also populate the insights section with charts on demographics and location save as a draft toggle the button in the audience details section to draft click save when you're ready to save it as an audience, point the toggle to audience save as an audience toggle the button in the audience details section to audience click save if you saved an audience, you can access it at any time in the health audiences view here you can edit, clone,
